Desirae 4 months!

The biggest change this month has been Desirae eating cereal. As you can see she already wants to be very independent. She literally snatched to spoon out of my mouth so that she could feed herself. Apparently I was taking way too long!

We celebrated Desirae's first Thanksgiving, here she is napping with Uncle Preston. She also had her first taste of food, whipped cream! Courtesy of Aunt Nicole ha ha.

She can sit in an upright position for about 20 minutes by herself, but when she gets tired she literally just flops over!

She can now grab all items (including mommy's earrings) and they usually head straight for her mouth.

Getting ready for her first Christmas, this is daddy and Desirae playing under the tree.

Desirae's first gingerbread man.

Desirae usually is goes to church dressed better than either of us, thanks to Grandma Brown. This is Desirae's much too big fur coat.

Change is a good thing.... I hope!

Wow, it's crazy how things can change so much in just one month. I've been considering working again for about a month, and after working a seasonal job at Sears, the desire to work became even stronger.
For those of you who know me I'm extremely independent and have always had a job, while I love being a stay at home mom and spending all day with my daughter, I miss having a reason to wake up and get "dolled up" every morning and I hate not having my own income. So after thinking about this for a month I received an email from Qwest ( I know direct competitor with my previous employer). This email talked about a job opportunity opening up in downtown slc. The building is only open from 8am to 6pm M-F, yep that's right no weekends, which in the call center environment that's completely unheard of. So after prayerful consideration and speaking with the hubby I went and interviewed for the job. I was immediately hired and the pay is pretty awesome not to mention amazing benefits. The great thing is Donald doesn't work til 5 pm everyday and his mom is available to babysit from 5 until about 6:15, which means no daycare! God is good and it's amazing how perfect the situation worked out!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
